About MTMS
The 8th international symposium on “Molecular Thermodynamics and Molecular Simulation (MTMS '18)” will be held during September 4-7, 2018 at Tsudanuma Campus of Nihon University in Narashino, Japan.
The objective of this four-day symposium is to provide a forum to scientists and engineers to discuss the recent advances in the large area of molecular thermodynamics and molecular simulation. The symposium is structured with keynote lectures by eminent scientists and engineers, and oral and poster presentations.
MTMS is held at three-year intervals since 1994 at the following places:
1st: 1994 Kyoto, organized by Prof. Koichiro Nakanishi (Kyoto Univ.)
2nd: 1997 Tokyo, organized by Prof. Hideo Nishiumi (Hosei Univ.)
3rd: 2003 Sendai, organized by Prof. Hiroshi Inomata (Tohoku Univ.)
4th: 2006 Makuhari, organized by Prof. Toshihiko Hiaki (Nihon Univ.)
5th: 2009 Kanazawa, organized by Prof. Kazuhiro Tamura (Kanazawa Univ.)
6th: 2012 Higashi-Hiroshima, organized by Prof. Shigeki Takishima (Hiroshima Univ.)
7th: 2015 Fukuoka, organized by Prof. Yoshio Iwai (Kyushu Univ.)
8th: 2018 Narashino, organized by Prof. Kiyofumi Kurihara (Nihon Univ.)
